Like all McRoskey mattresses, the BASIC is handcrafted to order in San Francisco. It is perfect for those looking for a more comfortably priced McRoskey without sacrificing any of the comfort or quality. Many use the BASIC for children's beds or guest rooms or second homes.

  • The McRoskey BASIC uses our famous flexible innerspring design for exceptional comfort.
  • Layers of buoyant, comfortable cool all-fiber cotton and polyester filling surround the innerspring.
  • Specially designed pressure-relieving box spring

Details and specifics

  • Strap handles enabling easy flip and rotate, essential to extending the life of the mattress. We'll send an email quarterly to remind you.
  • The BASIC also includes air vents on the mattress and box spring to keep you sleeping cool.
  • The BASIC is available in one great comfort: Medium Firmness
  • Heights: BASIC medium comfort mattress is 7.5 inches and the BASIC medium comfort box spring is 7 inches.

  • McRoskey can arrange delivery of your order (almost) anywhere in the world! A delivery charge applies to all delivered orders. Ask for a quotation. Or, you can pick up your order directly from our San Francisco factory at no charge.
  • To begin production,a 50% deposit is required. The balance is then charged when your order is completed.
  • Custom Sizes: Call for a quotation.
  • 8-year non pro-rated warranty against defects in materials and craftsmanship.

Ask about our payment plan! The balance of your order may also be paid interest-free over three or six months.

 


Ticking

100% cotton ticking is the material used to cover our mattresses and box springs. It is strongly woven, breathable and cool. Our all-cotton ticking is available in Diamond Beige.

 McRoskey Mattresses come in two colors of ticking either Gray or Blue in a classic diamond pattern.

Comfort Choices
  1. Overstuffed with layer upon layer of luxurious, buoyant, fiber filling. No foam here.
  2. Our unique, hourglass-shaped hinged coils create an inner spring system that rises to fill your nooks and crannies, yet yields to shoulders and hips. Incredibly responsive, remarkably supportive.
  3. Every seam, every tuft, every everything is quality checked over and over again.
  4. Signature brass eyelets maximize breathability, so you sleep cooler and cleaner.
  5. You can (and should!) use both sides of your McRoskey. (Can't do that with a single-side "pillow-top.") Secure, genuine cord handles make it easy.
  6. 100% cotton ticking. Stronger, cooler, more breathable than the ticking on mass-produced mattresses.
  7. Most beds come with a "foundation" - a rigid platform with little padding. But the McRoskey box spring is crafted from select woods and superior, flexible 9-gauge steel coils to give true pressure-absorbing support. Real box springs: the secret to a truly comfortable sleep.
