Handcrafted in San Francisco for you using our traditional flexible innerspring enveloped in layer upon layer of luxurious, comfortable, cool, clean and buoyant fiber filling, the McRoskey Classic mattress is supported by a real spring-filled box spring. This bed is loved by generations of loyal customers.

    • Extra Firm

      Our Extra Firm set is not hard. It is firm, but flexible. Support comes from the built in flexibility of both the mattress and box spring, a trait shared by all McRoskey sets.

    • Firm

      Our Firm set offers a firm, flexible comfort with a slightly gentler, more cushioned feel than the Extra Firm.

    • Gentle

      You'll be amazed at the support of our Gentle set, our most cushioned mattress on our firm box spring.

    • Extra Gentle

      Try our most indulgent comfort, providing a nearly weightless and enveloping sleeping experience. Those who love it call it "The Cloud."

  • Custom features available: special height box springs, split box springs, cut out corners, mattresses made 1" lower, special radius corners, choice of ticking cover. Customize your bed!
  • Also available: The McRoskey Classic Mattresses and Comfort Enhancers for platform beds.

  • Production availability varies. Order now!
  • McRoskey can arrange delivery of your order (almost) anywhere in the world! A delivery charge applies to all delivered orders. Ask for a quotation. Or, you can pick up your order directly from our San Francisco factory at no charge.
  • To begin production,a 50% deposit is required. The balance is then charged when your order is completed.

Ask about our payment plan! The balance of your order may also be paid interest-free over three or six months.

 


Ticking

100% cotton ticking is the material used to cover our mattresses and box springs. It is strongly woven, breathable and cool. Our all-cotton ticking is available in two colors:

  • Diamond Beige
  • Diamond Blue
McRoskey Mattresses come in two colors of ticking either Gray or Blue in a classic diamond pattern.

Extra Firm Mattress — 7.5 inches
Firm Mattress — 8 inches
Gentle Mattress — 8.5 inches

Firm Box Spring — 8 inches

Foundation — 8 inches. Height options: 2 to 14 inches (no extra charge)

BOX SPRING OPTIONS

Either Box Spring in Queen size can be made in two pieces (split) at no extra charge. The Firm Box Spring can be built as low as 6 inches or as high as 14 inches in one-inch increments.

The Gentle Box Spring can be built as high as 14 inches in one-inch increments.

6 to 8 inches — No extra charge
9 to 11 inches — $100 per box spring ($200 for split box springs)
12 to 14 inches — $200 per box spring ($400 for split box springs)

Height — 7.5 inches from the floor where the box spring sits on the rail.

Comfort Choices
  1. Overstuffed with layer upon layer of luxurious, buoyant, fiber filling. No foam here.
  2. Our unique, hourglass-shaped hinged coils create an inner spring system that rises to fill your nooks and crannies, yet yields to shoulders and hips. Incredibly responsive, remarkably supportive.
  3. Every seam, every tuft, every everything is quality checked over and over again.
  4. Signature brass eyelets maximize breathability, so you sleep cooler and cleaner.
  5. You can (and should!) use both sides of your McRoskey. (Can't do that with a single-side "pillow-top.") Secure, genuine cord handles make it easy.
  6. 100% cotton ticking. Stronger, cooler, more breathable than the ticking on mass-produced mattresses.
  7. Most beds come with a "foundation" - a rigid platform with little padding. But the McRoskey box spring is crafted from select woods and superior, flexible 9-gauge steel coils to give true pressure-absorbing support. Real box springs: the secret to a truly comfortable sleep.
